This was taken at a subway station in Manhattan (Upper West Side, I believe). The illuminated tracks from street above set against the darkness of the tunnel create offered a picture-worthy chiaroscuro.

While driving through Bel Air one afternoon, I happened across this hat. It was in the middle of the street. Seemed too nice to leave there and, perhaps, the owner would return in search of it. I placed somewhere visible and safe.
This is not manufactured; this is an actual reflection of my silhouette through the window between me and the neighbor's apartment.

The sky above Manhattan is alive, and what makes it particularly special is the clearing in the distance, introducing contrasting color to the scene.
