I am not a photographer, but I've seen beautiful, inspiring, and evocative things worth capturing and sharing.
Hopefully, despite their quality, these images will inspire you.
Moments & Perspectives
A moment when something quite ordinary (a glass on a table) makes an impression.
The sharpness of the bottle against the distorted background creates an appealing contrast
Unfortunately, I don't recall what occasioned this image.
As I recall, this is another moment where the combination of light and glass creates something evocative.
Reflection of light
Stem and base of a glass
These are bottles as seen through a frosted glass. (Captured at a restaurant in New York.)
Ceiling lamp above a bar in New York
Space between floors of an old building in New York
Not sure this was intentional.
My glasses were not posed for this picture. It was a moment
Door to a church in Armenia
Central Park
This was taken at a subway station in Manhattan (Upper West Side, I believe). The illuminated tracks from street above set against the darkness of the tunnel create offered a picture-worthy chiaroscuro.
Light through a window of an ancient church in Armenia
Chess set at The Paper Factory
While driving through Bel Air one afternoon, I happened across this hat. It was in the middle of the street. Seemed too nice to leave there and, perhaps, the owner would return in search of it. I placed somewhere visible and safe.
This is not manufactured; this is an actual reflection of my silhouette through the window between me and the neighbor's apartment. (2017 or 2018)
